Survivor Quest Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers about playing Survivor Quest, accounts, controls, weekly leaderboard resets, daily coin draws, prize spins, and wallets.

What is Survivor Quest?

Survivor Quest is a free 2D pixel-art survival game that runs directly in your browser. Pick a hero, survive enemy waves, collect coins, unlock upgrades, and compete on the weekly leaderboard.

Do I need an account to play?

No. You can play practice runs without signing in. Sign in before starting a run if you want your matches and progress saved, your eligible scores placed on the weekly leaderboard, and access to daily draws and prize spins.

What are the controls?

On desktop, move with WASD or the arrow keys, dash with Space, pause with P or Escape, and toggle fullscreen with F. On mobile, drag on the left side to move, tap the right side to dash, and press and hold on the right side to pause or resume.

How does the weekly leaderboard work?

Your best eligible single-run coin total during the current week determines your position. Playing more matches gives you more chances to improve, but only your highest qualifying run is used for your rank.

When does the weekly reset happen?

The new week starts every Monday at 00:00 UTC. The current leaderboard, in-game coin balance, purchased heroes, upgrades, and weekly game records start fresh. Completed match records and past leaderboard results remain stored on the website, while earned weekly spins are awarded separately.

How are match coins saved?

Coins from an eligible signed-in run are added to your server-backed game balance when the match ends. If the network is temporarily unavailable, the website keeps the result in a local delivery queue and retries when possible.

How does the daily draw work?

Signed-in players can claim one daily draw per UTC calendar day. Every draw awards between 100 and 1,000 in-game coins, which are added to the same balance used for heroes and upgrades. The draw becomes available again at 00:00 UTC.

How do prize spins work?

Players who finish in a rewarded weekly leaderboard position receive spins automatically after the week closes. Every available spin currently awards an in-game coin prize. Each result can be independently checked using the Verify option in spin history.

Can prize spins award an NFT?

NFT rewards are not currently active. If eligible NFTs are added and enabled in the prize pool, the spin page will show the available items and a winning NFT may replace the normal coin reward. Separate official rules will be published before any real-value promotion opens.

Do I need to connect a crypto wallet?

No wallet is needed to play, save scores, earn in-game coins, or use coin-only spins. A wallet would only be needed to receive an NFT prize if NFT rewards are activated in the future. Linking a wallet uses a signature to prove ownership and does not require a gas payment.

What should I do if a score or coin reward is missing?

First confirm that you were signed in before the run, then refresh the page and allow the game to finish synchronizing. If the result is still missing, contact survivorquest@proton.me with your display name, the approximate time of the match or reward, and what you expected to see.
